ABOUT ME
Austin Rooney was born in Germany and grew up in West Africa, and has since traveled all over the world. With more than 13 years of experience producing video, shooting photos, writing, and graphic design, he is a jack-of-all-trades and has worked in a variety of fields.
Going from military life shooting videos in the Navy, to traveling the world as a videographer for a disaster relief NGO, to more world travel working for a national news network, and then ending up as a civilian video producer for the US military, he has experience working in almost any environment. Austin has won 3 Emmy Awards for his videography, as well as being named the DOD's Communicator of the Year, Videographer of the Year, and Journalist of the Year twice.
